O sofrimento humano na perspectiva humanista-experiencial: uma abordagem diagnóstica baseada em processos narrativos

Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo teórico é explorar a relação entre a abordagem humanista-experiencial e a perspectiva diagnóstica baseada em processos. Em contraste com a abordagem sindrômica, que se concentra na categorização de quadros psicopatológicos específicos, a abordagem diagnóstica baseada em processos narrativos envolve um processo dialético de ação e síntese dos componentes da experiência. Este estudo desenvolve reflexões acerca de: uma relação entre a experiência e a produção de sentido; o raciocínio clínico idiográfico e abdutivo; a centralidade dos processos narrativos na constituição do self e na experiência do sofrimento; e os modelos investigativos e empíricos para a análise dos processos narrativos - emocionais na compreensão da psicopatologia. Destaca-se que as formas narrativas de pesquisa, cujo interesse tem crescido nas últimas duas décadas, oferecem uma maneira de tornar empíricos os empreendimentos históricos das abordagens humanistas, reconhecendo o processo e a intersubjetividade como principais guias no diagnóstico psicoterapêutico.
